Brass

Brass is beautiful, but the colour and texture can change over time. If you find that the brass develops black spots or the like, it just needs to be polished.

Various brass polishes are available from hardware stores, chemists and larger supermarkets – just be aware that the polish be for brass and always follow the product instructions.
Make sure that the brass polish does not leave marks on the other materials in your product.
